Tel Aviv born jazz-pop artist Florie Namir, is a multifaceted musician who is comfortable with doing anything music, from writing symphonic works to fronting a rock-soul band.
While working on her PhD in Classical Composition and Theory at Brandeis University near Boston, MA, Florie sang in variety of projects, including Eastern European folk, Israeli art song, Russian operas, as well as jazz standards. Ultimately, she launched her solo singer-songwriter career. She played Mondo NYC festival, Sofar Sounds and toured in New England, Mexico, Israel and Japan.
Florie currently resides in London, UK.
